Introducing Ron Padua and Tom McBurnie’s collabration The Phantom, one incredibly beautiful wide body Speedster. The body has been moved out 3½ inches on each side in the rear so it can support 9½”x16” rear wheels, (Porsche twists).
It has a very unusual 911 Speedster tonneau fully integrated, 356B front & rear bumpers, 356B front headlights and horn grills, lowered windshield, carbon fiber 550 dash, door tops and headrests, no dash switches, and more. The bottom of the car is carbon fiber. The engine is a 2275cc Scat with a carbon fiber 911 engine shroud. It has carbon fiber air cleaner covers, 356 horn grills, and park lights in the engine compartment air ducts to finish this incredible build
This car was the Extreme Award Winner at the 2008 A.H.A Knotts Show . Contact Tom McBurnie at Thunder Ranch to inquire to have a custom Phantom built for you.
