Bob Morton, a friend of Thunder Ranch owner Tom McBurnie, has '29 Brookfield steel body Street Rod on a ’32 frame. The Rod is powered by one of two special engines built by Oldsmobile. The paint and body work is by Thunder Ranch.

Bob, an Air Force veteran, ran at the first two SCTA Bonneville meets in 49’ and 50’. Bob also built flathead engines for Lou Senter at Ansen Automotive and had the first flathead powered stock bodied roadster to exceed 150mph in 1950.

Bob’s Hot Rod was one of only 22 nostalgia roadsters picked nationwide by Blackie Gejegian to participate in his 2007 Fresno Autorama. His Hot Rod was the recipient of the “Outstanding Elegance” Award.
