Everything you need to begin producing the McBurnie Riot!

The Riot was designed by Mark Sterenburger in 1995 Professor of Design at LA Art center, Switzerland and contributor to Road and Track, Car and Driver, etc. for future automotive styling.  Thunder Ranch bought the design shortly thereafter and created the body in three dimension and all its tooling.  The Riot was modified in 2004 to narrow the front bodywork so a standard VW beam will fit, incorporate flush headlight pods, add twin grill openings and finally soften the rocker panel lines. Originally, the Riot concept was the sports car Manx for the street and it still could be today.  Even though the Riot is VW based, like our other replicas the marketing is to a different and younger group than the traditional VW based Speedster and Spyder replicas.  We don’t participate in VW car shows or VW performance events where the Riot would be popular, therefore we have decided to sell all parts and tooling associated with the Riot.Included in the sale:
